24-26. September 2013:
During the Eurpean AAL Forum in Norrköping (Sweden) iStoppFalls participated with an exhibition booth, a live demo of the re-designed system and contributions to the scientific program with a presentation on the iStoppFalls Living Labs in Siegen, Cologne and Sydney (N=58).
All Participants of the Forum, i.e. end-users, scientific community and other AAL projects rated the current iStoppFalls demonstrator a "complete package" for fall prevention and prediction (fall risk assessment). The upcomingRandomized Clinical Trial in Europe and Australia (N=160) in early 2014 will evaluate efficacy and thus evidence of the iStoppFalls approach for older adults (70+) living independently at home.
